Jon Rokochy, CEO

Jon is the Founder and CEO of Assure Occupational Testing Inc. His vision for Assure began in 2009 with a desire to help safety-sensitive companies create safe workplaces and take the best care of their employees.

Jon’s interest in occupational health began while working as an Addictions Therapist and Manager at an addictions treatment centre. He holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Degree and is experienced in the treatment of addictive disorders. Jon will help your company create a detailed plan to best take care of your employees who may be struggling with addiction.

Jon is committed to personal development and education in the field of occupational health which has lead him to obtain various certifications and proficiencies including: Certified Audiometric Technician, Certified Spirometry Technician, Designated Employee Representative (DER) Compliance Train-the-Trainer, Certified Respirator Fit Tester with TSI PortAccount, Certified DOT Drug and Alcohol Collector and many more related certifications.

Trish Domes, LPN, Technician

Trish has been with Assure since 2013 and graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 1996.

She began working in the occupational health field in 2009 and brings valuable knowledge and experience into each health assessment she completes with clients. She aims to combine her knowledge of health and business to balance safe and healthy work environments.

Trish is a Certified Audiometric Technician, Certified Spirometry Technician, Certified Respirator Fit Tester with TSI PortAccount, Certified DOT Drug and Alcohol Collector and DNA Collector.

Not being a fan of the cold (!), when Trish comes out of her winter hibernation, she enjoys camping, boating, fishing and travelling.

Carrie Ryan, Operations Manager

Carrie has been with Assure since 2019. She came from a career in Dental and was ready for a change. What a change it was coming to Occupational Health! She started as the receptionist and through her past experience in management is now our Operations Manager.

Carrie loves the interactions with clients and thrives on event planning and organizing. She is the go to person to set up your on site bookings and also takes personal growth from helping with the Substance Abuse Program for our clients as well.

Carrie has lived in Lloydminster with her two sons since 2012. She was born and raised in Nova Scotia. If you see her out and about in the community she is usually enjoying time with her family and friends, or you will see her walking her two dogs Sophie and Stella.

Maria Salve Bautista, Technician

Salve Bautista received her degree in Medical Office Administration from Reeves College and completed Audiometric and Spirometry Training Courses from McEwan University. She is now a certified Occupational Health Technician at Assure.

Prior to joining the Assure family, she worked in the Food and Hospitality Industry and decided to take a new career path. She loves traveling across the country, does extreme adventures, and loves to discover different cuisines from different cultures.

Nikka Marie Gonzales, Receptionist

Nikka is the first person to welcome you at the door and the familiar voice you hear on the phone.

She had been in the education field before she joined Assure as a Receptionist. With advanced computer skills, positive vibe, and warm smile, she is the person who greets you and makes sure your appointments go smoothly.

She received her master’s degree in education management and plans to take certifications in the office administration field. Having recently moved to Lloydminster, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son outdoors while exploring places in town.

Dr. Ken Fryatt, MD, FRCPC, MRO, B.Comm

Dr. Fryatt is Assure’s Occupational Health Physician and Medical Review Officer (MRO). He has been practicing in the area of Occupational Medicine for over 15 years. He provides consulting services to the Oil and Gas Industry, Aviation, WCB, and the Insurance Industry. He is a certified Medical Review Officer (DOT) reviewing drug and alcohol results. Outside of work, he enjoys the great outdoors, whether it is walking the dogs with his wife, or skiing with his son.
